PISAC – ARCHAEOLOGY AND HANDICRAFTS
Location: 33 km northeast of Cusco
Altitude: 2,974 m a.s.l.
Description:
The Pisac archaeological site sits atop a mountain overlooking the town. It features agricultural terraces, ceremonial temples, viewpoints, and Inca cemeteries.
In the town, visit the famous artisan market where you can find textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and local products.
URUBAMBA – BUFFET LUNCH
Location: 1 hour from Pisac, in the heart of the Sacred Valley
Altitude: 2,871 m a.s.l.
Description:
Known as “The Pearl of the Vilcanota” for its warm climate, fertile fields, and green landscapes.

OLLANTAYTAMBO – THE LIVING CITADEL

The archaeological complex is famous for its impressive terraces, the Temple of the Sun, and ceremonial zones.
Ollantaytambo was also a significant military and agricultural center and the site of Inca resistance against the Spanish conquerors.
CHINCHERO – TRADITION AND ANDEAN VIEWS
Location: 28 km northwest of Cusco (on the return route)
Altitude: 3,754 m a.s.l.
Description:
Known as “The Land of the Rainbow”, Chinchero is a village of Inca and colonial origins.
Its main attraction is the central plaza with a colonial church built atop an ancient Inca palace, as well as its agricultural terraces and textile workshops.
Here you can observe demonstrations of traditional weaving processes using alpaca wool and natural dyes.
