CATHEDRAL OF CUSCO
Location: Plaza de Armas, Cusco

Considered a jewel of religious art in the Americas. Built on the Inca palace of Suntur Wasi, it blends Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance styles. Admire its silver main altar, gilded altarpieces, and paintings from the Cusco School, including the iconic Last Supper with guinea pig.
TEMPLE OF THE SUN – KORICANCHA
Location: Av. El Sol, Historic Center
Altitude: 3,395 m a.s.l.
Description:
The most sacred temple of the Inca world, dedicated to the god Inti. Its walls were once covered in gold. After the conquest, the Convent of Santo Domingo was built atop its ruins, creating a striking blend of cultures.
SACSAYHUAMÁN
Location: 2 km north of Cusco’s center
Altitude: 3,700 m a.s.l.
Description:
A monumental Inca complex built with perfectly fitted cyclopean stones. Site of the Inti Raymi festival, it offers panoramic views of Cusco and showcases Inca architectural genius.
QENQO

Description:
A ceremonial and astronomical center featuring underground galleries, a rock-carved altar, and zigzagging channels. It was dedicated to earth rituals and the mummification of nobles.
TAMBOMACHAY

Description:
Known as the “Inca’s Bath”, this ceremonial site stands out for its fine hydraulic constructions. A place of worship to water and a resting spot for Inca nobility.
